Mixscience and SN Proveci on tour in Ivory Coast: focus on drinking water acidification

From August 31 to September 5, Mixscience, alongside its distributor SN Proveci, travelled across Agnibilékrou, Bouaké and Daloa to meet poultry professionals at a series of technical seminars.

The ambition: helping veterinarians and farmers unlock more value from their production systems through Mixscience Farm Specialties range (Tecnofirm®), with a special spotlight on drinking water acidification.

An initiative designed to boost our distributor’s network

To support this initiative, we leveraged the network of our Ivorian partner SN Proveci, based in Abidjan, a leading importer and distributor of veterinary products and animal feed. This created valuable opportunities to engage directly with veterinarians and farmers, discuss the challenges they face on a daily basis, and demonstrate how our solutions can support their operations.

Patrice Corlay, Export Sales Manager (Tecnofirm), shared practical insights and demonstrated how water-delivered complementary feeds can help improve farm performance.

Strong engagement from the field

The seminars attracted a large audience, exceeding initial expectations:

  • Agnibilékrou: 60 farmers attended
  • Bouaké: more than 150 farmers participated
  • Daloa: 75 attendees, including farmers, technicians and veterinarians

From theory to practice: a hands-on workshop

Each seminar concluded with a practical demonstration, giving participants the opportunity to observe firsthand the impact of Voliacid, the drinking water acidifier, on water pH. By measuring the pH before and after product application, farmers could clearly see the effectiveness of the approach and its relevance to their own operations.

The workshop was particularly well received, with several farmers deciding to adopt the solution immediately following the event.
